Getting the Whole Family onto a Password Manager
The family IT meeting about passwords went about as well as expected - until I reframed it. Not 'security hygiene', but 'never get locked out of anything again, and stop texting me for the streaming login'.
We picked a manager with a family plan, spent one Sunday migrating accounts, and wrote the emergency kit on actual paper in an actual drawer. The shared vault for household logins ended the weekly login negotiations.
Six months on: no resets, no reused passwords, and - mysteriously - fewer text messages asking me for credentials. Security improvements that survive are the ones that make life easier first.
